Train4Life have created an innovative disability course, which delivers the skills required for gold quality service delivery. It is the next level up from the standard entry level qualification (Certificate III in Individual Support CHC33015 – Disability). This course focuses on specialised skills for the disability services sector.

Course outcomes include . . .

  • Support settings for people with disabilities within an in-home, respite and/or community settings
  • Ensuring the safety and overall well being of clients
  • Providing guidance, support and developing life skills with clients
  • Support models and sector requirements
  • Building community inclusion into every day practices

Course eligibility

To be eligible for a Skilled Capital funded position, the student must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible visa holder, live or work in the ACT, over 18 years of age and not enrolled in secondary school/college.


Skilled Capital Eligible $850

Fee-for-service $2,300


This course is made up of 5 classes spread over 5 months.  Classes are on Tuesdays from 9:30 – 3:30. First Class commences 20 August 2019.

It is imperative that you attend all the face-to-face classes.
