SkillSets @ Train4Life
What is a SkillSet?

Skill sets combine a group of key units of competency to meet an industry need. Skill sets enable performance of job tasks or functions. By comparison, whole qualifications produce learning outcomes that enable performance of a whole VET occupation.

Skill sets allow workers to build on their existing qualifications to keep their skills up to date or to develop skills in a new area without their needing to complete a full qualification, enabling them to progress in an industry, to move between different sectors in an industry or into a new industry.
